Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using cognitiveinsight.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Informational Purpose

The site, research, diagrams, architecture, and reference materials are provided for general informational and educational purposes only.

No Legal, Compliance, Security, or Professional Advice

Cognitive Insight LLC does not provide legal, regulatory, or compliance advice. The materials on this site do not substitute for professional counsel. You must evaluate your own legal, regulatory, security, privacy, and technical obligations regarding AI governance.

No Client Relationship

Viewing the site, downloading materials, submitting a contact form, or communicating informally does not create a consulting, legal, fiduciary, or other professional-client relationship.

Any consulting, implementation, software, or advisory services are governed exclusively by a separate written agreement (e.g., Master Services Agreement) between Cognitive Insight and the applicable client.

Open-Source Boundary

Please note the distinction in intellectual property:

• Open Artifacts. Only AGEI schemas, code, reference implementations, and documentation expressly identified as open-source in the applicable repository, file header, or License & Notices page are licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0. The applicable repository license and NOTICE files control if there is any conflict.
• Proprietary Content. Unless expressly identified as open-source or otherwise licensed, the Site’s text, branding, logos, diagrams, visual design, service descriptions, and trademarks are owned by Cognitive Insight LLC or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, modified, or used without prior written permission.
• Third-Party Materials. Third-party software, content, standards, services, and linked materials are subject to their own applicable terms, licenses, and privacy practices.

Limited Permission to Use the Site

Subject to these Terms, Cognitive Insight grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Site for lawful personal, educational, research, or internal business purposes. Except for open-source artifacts licensed separately, no right, title, or interest in the Site or its proprietary content is transferred to you.

Feedback and Contributions

If you submit feedback, issue reports, proposals, comments, or other contributions through the Site, GitHub, or other community channels, you represent that you have the right to submit them. Unless otherwise agreed in writing or governed by the applicable repository contribution terms, you grant Cognitive Insight LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and incorporate that feedback into the project.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to engage in malicious interference, using automated systems, bots, crawlers, scripts, or other means to access, copy, monitor, or collect Site content in a manner that exceeds reasonable use, violates applicable law, bypasses technical controls, or materially interferes with Site operation.

Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Site and public reference materials are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. Cognitive Insight LLC does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cognitive Insight LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or security, arising out of or related to use of, or inability to use, the Site or public reference materials.

This site may contain links to GitHub, external standards, articles, tools, and services. These are not under our control, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Subject to applicable law, you agree that any action or proceeding arising from these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Effective Date” above when changes are posted. If we make a material change, we may provide additional notice through the Site or by another reasonable method. Your continued use of the Site after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
